Gawain Hewitts Dreams Manifest workshop

Gawain Hewitt is an artist, educator and musician whose worked revolves around community participation, mental health and innovation. His website can be found here.

He has recently used SPOKE in his workshop on accesible instrument design for for Sense Make Music Day - Sense Kinetic Sharing. “This is a series of printed pads made with conductive PLA. I was working on my project Digital Luthiers to teach young disabled people that they can make their own instruments. Here they are coming up with ideas on post it notes and then we are sonifying them using scratch”

The project also included creating clay models of interface ides, which were then 3D scanned and printed in conductive 3D printer filament. An amazing technique for sensor creation that Gawain has been working with.
